Google and Yahoo! are to reach an agreement on online advertising

Soon, when you surf on the website Yahoo, do not be surprised to see Google AdSense advertisements appear (on computer) or Google AdMob (mobile). This is indeed the result of an agreement between the two U.S. competitors, announced Wednesday evening. This partnership had already been raised last year. Today, it is done.

These ads will soon be seen on Yahoo will be "contextualized", that is to say, they presume any desires of the "user-consumer", analyzing queries it performs online.

Marissa Mayer, the hyphen between Google and Yahoo!

Marissa Mayer, named CEO of Yahoo on July 16, knows the firm since Google has spent 13 years, his last position being that of Vice-President in charge of mapping and geolocation. Its new mission for a year? Giving a boost to the group that has stagnated in recent years. With immediate effect. 2012 has been the first year of growth for the group in four years. Turnover last year amounted to  4.99 billion dollars. But officials have recently announced that the return to strong growth take time.

Before moving to the advertising agreement with Google, Marissa Mayer had already partnered with NBC Sports and CBS to improve content offerings. In 2012, Yahoo and Bing (Microsoft) have also formalized their agreement with respect to their common platform to manage PPC campaigns. Advertising, at Yahoo, is now a business of three.
