This is a statement from the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) that we learn the intentions of the President of Google: offload 42% of his shares Google. Obviously, the operation will not be carried out at once, but will be spread over a year to avoid disrupting markets too.

Currently, Eric Schmidt holds 2.3% of Google stock and will therefore sell 3.2 million shares, 7.6 million of he owns. If it is based on the present value of Google stock ( 785 $), the sale can be estimated at 2.5 billion dollars.

Remember that when he was at the head of Google as CEO, his salary was 1 $ per year, with a large share-based compensation. Since he became president, his salary rose to  1.25 million dollars per year.

Eric Schmidt's fortune is now valued by Forbes at around 7.5 billion dollars. That does not even allow him to be in the Top 22 of the richest men in the world.
