RIM wants to train entrepreneurs to use BlackBerry 10

The Canadian manufacturer of BlackBerry, Research In Motion, announced Thursday a program to prepare its business customers to take full advantage of its new BlackBerry 10 platform to be launched on January 30th.

"We maintain our commitments to corporate customers and want to offer them a head start to understand the power of BlackBerry 10 and prepare their environment for new mobile computing platform," said Bryan Lee, Senior Director of Research at business sector in Motion, said in a statement.

The operation dubbed BlackBerry 10 Ready Program is divided into four phases, two components, Ready and Ready Offer Webcast Series are available from Thursday.

The first is offered to subscribers benefiting from technical support services called Advantage. They will be invited to attend a training program online and receive a free Blackberry 10 at the launch of the operating system.

The second consists of weekly broadcasts on the Internet, providing information and useful tools to clients who are preparing to adopt the new operating system. These programs will be available in several languages.

RIM plays its future on the success hoped for the Blackberry platform 10, whose launch - waited for nearly three years - will be accompanied by one of two new smartphones. The Canadian group hopes to regain market share it has lost in recent years owing to its competitors Apple and Google.
