Facebook launches Oculus Go

At the Oculus Connect keynote held in San Jose, Mark Zuckerberg, with Hugo Barra and other senior executives from Facebook presented the Oculus Go, a completely self-contained virtual reality headset. This model will be available in early 2018 for $ 199.

The developer kits will be delivered in November. According to Hugo Barra, manager of the company's VR activities, Oculus Go has gained in lightness and also in comfort thanks to the addition of a new mesh on the face interface.

This headset also have better visual clarity than the Oculus Rift. With a resolution of 2560 x 1440 Wide Quad HD, its fast-switch LCD provides the same field of view but less glare, according to its detractors. The audio drivers are integrated directly into the headset.
