Google Web Designer, free editing tool ads in HTML5
Google unveiled a WYSIWYG editor to easily create HTML5 ads. The tool is currently in beta and offers the user to create animated objects or promotional items without requiring advanced knowledge in HTML.
Launched in beta, the Web Designer editor Google offers easy access tool for users who want to develop promotional items in HTML5. The main advantage of HTML5 in this type of project is the ability to create animated elements that do not require the installation of Flash on the computer users wishing to view the ad, as well as facilities to make these pub "responsive" and adapted to the screen size.
Of course, Google directly integrates its own advertising systems AdMob and DoubleClick in the editor, but also allows you to create generic format for those who prefer to go through another system.
The editor in the form of a What You See Is What You Get, but also offers the possibility of opening the source code to modify finer projects.
If HTML5 is not yet fully supported by all browsers, major players in the web seem to throw their weight to democratize the use of this new open standard that replaces Flash. For now, an ad in HTML5 deprives some audience share since only users with an updated browser will enjoy it, but in a few years (or months) HTML5 risk well become a standard and will not cause more problems with compatibility.
The functionality of the beta focus on animation, simplified by the publisher since the user can use the Quick Mode to simply define the different scenes and leave the care of the publisher fill the intermediate steps for smooth animation. But Google also mentions the possibility of modeling 3D objects using CSS3.
