Remember that the initial issue of this mega-trial was violated patents on the iPhone. But rather that the amount of damages and paid interest had to be recalculated, due to an error. In the first calculation, therefore erroneous, Samsung was ordered to pay more than a billion dollars to Apple.

This additional $ 290 million is situated between the requirements of two parts: Samsung estimated this amount to $ 52 million, 380 million in Apple. It adds to the 600 million that Samsung had already given its American counterpart.

For Apple, who spoke after the new verdict, its patents relate to "innovation and all the complex work of our teams to invent products." Now, except rebound last minute, this episode seems closed.
