Engraved in 22nm Trigate, so they represent the very best at Intel for several applications, deduplication network virtualization through storage. Today, 80% of storage servers in the world run on the Xeon E5-v1.

First server from IBM

Big Blue did not wait long before unveiling its first product based on the Xeon E5-2600 v2: the NextScale, capable of carrying 84 x86 and 2016 cores in a standard 19-inch rack.
