Windows 8.1 now available

Microsoft now makes available the 8.1 version of its new operating system, which includes several new features requested by customers, including businesses.

First precision version 8.1 is free and can be downloaded from the Windows Store. The DVD version of the product will be available from 18 October. The main novelties of this major update are extensive possibilities for customizing the home screen and can now start the computer with the screen is composed of tiles directly to the office as in previous versions of Windows.

This possibility was one of the main demands, many users feeling a bit lost with the "tiles" which is not an obvious simple interface. The Start button is back and you can see the applications as desired, not only how Windows offers. 

Improved multi-monitor support

In terms of performance, Microsoft states have improved multi-tasking. It is now possible to have four applications simultaneously on the screen in different sizes. The multi-screen support is also more efficient. Many applications benefit from updates as Skype, email, Xbox Music or Internet Explorer version 11. Integration and synchronization with Skydrive is also enhanced as research with Bing.

Microsoft also shows new features and new applications in the Windows Store, including Adobe Photoshop Express, Evernote, Facebook, NetFlix.
